Moruya Bowling & Recreation Club
The Moruya Bowling & Recreation Club is a small friendly club offering excellent sporting facilities for everyone including lawn bowls, tennis & croquet.
Beautifully manicured bowling greens, 5 all-weather & 2 clay tennis courts and a croquet court make this club a must-stop venue. Visitors and locals are always welcome for social and competition play. Night tennis comps and social matches are popular and so too are our free barefoot bowls on Friday & Saturday nights.
Call in to our clubhouse for a refreshing ale and delicious meal any day of the week. The On-Shore Platter Restaurant caters for all tastes using only the best fresh local produce, with lunch from 12 to 2pm and dinner from 6pm. Every Monday and Tuesday there is our special $5 lunches as well as a blackboard menu. Or you can relax with friends in our great outdoor BBQ area.
Our clubhouse also offers full TAB facilities, pool table and friendly bar service. Join us for Happy Hour and Badge Draws throughout the week, and try your luck at Cash Bingo on Sundays, or weekend Raffles – our big cash draw on Friday nights and Surf & Turf raffle on Sundays where we have magnificent Seafood trays and Meat trays up for grabs!
The club has a supervised Kids room open on Friday and Saturday nights from 6pm and Sunday’s from 12pm till 3pm
Conveniently located behind the CBD close to the Moruya River, we are only 10 minutes walk from many of Moruya’s accommodation outlets. There is plenty of parking for those who prefer to drive, or you can book our Courtesy Bus.
